Bruce Calvin Pearman

Bruce Calvin Pearman passed away January 31, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. He was born September 9, 1948 to Virginia and Robert Pearman in Greensboro, NC. He was a graduate of Page High School in Greensboro, NC, and attended Guilford College. He was employed by Eastern Air lines for 20 years, and was the postmaster at the Old Salem Post Office for 17 years. Mr. Pearman is survived by his wife of 43 years, Norma Hale Pearman; his daughter Andrea Christine Pearman of Greensboro, and son Stephen Hale Pearman and his wife Lisle of Durham, NC; his grandson Clint Douglas Bryte of Greensboro, and grandson Alexander Hanes Pearman of Durham, NC. ; his brother Dennis Pearman and wife Ann of Asheboro, NC, Roger Pearman and wife Terrie of Cape Coral FL, Suzanne Rodman and husband John of Oviedo, FL. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday on February 5, 2010, at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, NC. The visitation will follow the service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to The Children's Home, 1001 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104, or Korner's Folly Foundation, 413 S. Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284.
