Bruce Camillus Orrell

Mr. Bruce Camillus Orrell, 65, passed away May 6, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1950 in Stokes County to Arthur McCloud Orrell and Margie Joyce Orrell. Bruce lost a two year battle to lung cancer. He was a unique individual, what is often called a ""one-off"". He knew, first hand, both how difficult and fulfilling life can be. Through these experiences and the gifts of intelligence and values given by his family, he was able to become that rare individual known as ""his own man"". He was diverse in his interests, rigorous in his research, deep in his thinking, and broad in his perspective. He will be missed by all. Bruce was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother and his brother, Thomas Rocky Orrell. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
