Brittany Danielle Costakis

KERNERSVILLE - Brittany Danielle Costakis, 22, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Brittany was born on April 2, 1993 in Forsyth County to Craig Costakis and Kimberly Wise Costakis. She was a 2012 graduate of East Forsyth High School and loved scrapbooking and listening to music. Brittany loved her dog, Snickerdoodle and always had a smile for everybody that will continue to enlighten our lives.
Brittany was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Robert ""Shorty"" Holt; her maternal great grandmother, Faye Wise; and two special friends, Devan Greer and Vinny DiGerolamo.
Surviving are her mother, Kimberly Costakis, of the home; her grandparents, Eleanore Bradshaw (Tom) and Keith Wise (Sylvia); her great grandmother, Elfriede Holt; her father, Craig Costakis of Kansas; an uncle, Vince Vannote (Renae) of Belews Creek, who was always her rock to lean on anytime she needed; and cousins, Vincent, Samantha and Casey.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
