Brian Wilson McLean

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Brian Wilson McLean, 45, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home. Brian was born on March 9, 1968 in New York to Dale Carlisle and Cheryl Eliason McLean. He was a 1986 graduate from Farragut High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Traffic Management at University of Tennessee in 1990. Brian enjoyed the outdoors with golf, kayaking and hiking among his favorites. Surviving are his two sons, Tyler Wilson and Nickolas Carlisle McLean of Kernersville; parents, Dale & Cheryl, of Naples, FL and Knoxville, TN; one brother, Harold Eric McLean of Knoxville, TN; one uncle, Whynn Stetson Eliason and family; one aunt, Darla Lou Eliason, all of Pensacola, FL; three nieces, Lorine Eliason of York, SC, Caitlin Wave McLean and Emma Bronwyn McLean, both of Knoxville, TN; and a nephew, John Andrew Eliason of Potomac, MD. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Friday, August 2, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. A private memorial service will be held for the family following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brian McLean Memorial, c/o First Presbyterian Church, 49 South Portage Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
