Brian Keith Hutchins

Walkertown - Mr. Brian Keith Hutchins went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, May 17, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1965 in Forsyth Co. Brian was a very tender hearted and compassionate individual, who loved his family and friends. He was known as a prayer warrior, and Godly example to all who knew him. He had an incredible ability to encourage others even in the midst of his own sickness. Brian began volunteering with the Winston Salem Parks and Recreation as a child, and continued to work for the city until he retired, November 30th 2012, as the Salem Lake Program Supervisor. He loved sports trivia, and cat fishing under the moonlight. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father; Lester James Hutchins, Jr. Surviving are; his loving wife Glenda, a daughter; Laura, and a son; BJ all of the home, his Mother; Barbara Boger (Nelson) of Winston Salem, three brothers; James Michael Hutchins ( Melisa) of Welcome, Ronald Wayne Hutchins, Ricky L. Hutchins both of Winston Salem, brother in law; Jimmy Stewart of Franklinville, two special ""Little People,"" Jordan and Joel Stewart, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Winston Salem First with Pastor Elwood Rakes officating.
