Brett James Van Damme

Mr. Brett James Van Damme, 40, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He was born July 23, 1971 in Rochester, NY to James and Margaret Kelly Van Damme. He was an amazing and devoted husband and father. Brett worked with Piedmont Triad Anesthesia as a CRNA at Forsyth Medical Center, and was a member of Winston-Salem First Church. Surviving are his wife, Nicole; children, Cameron and Zoe; parents, Margaret Crowley of Winston-Salem and James Van Damme of NY; a brother, Ryan (Erin); and a number of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Tommy Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the children's education to: Winston Salem First, memo 'Scholarship Fund'.
