Mrs. Brenda Hutchins Pinnix, 74, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Village Care of King. Brenda was born in Forsyth County on November 16, 1946, to the late Carl Eugene Hutchins and Roberta Tuttle Hutchins. She graduated from North Forsyth High School and was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church. Brenda worked at Pinnix TV Repair in Winston-Salem and BellSouth (AT&T), retiring in 2009 after 39 ½ years of service. Brenda loved watching The Hallmark Channel and Days of Our Lives. She enjoyed doing crafts, most of which remain unfinished. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Pinnix. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Beverly Pinnix-Jackson (Jack) of Lexington, NC and Heather Styers (Chris) of Tobaccoville, NC; stepsons, William Fred Pinnix (Margaret) of Florida and Larry Blake Pinnix (Rhonda) of Walkertown, NC; grandchildren, Ava Styers, Kayla Pinnix-Jackson, and Carter Styers; brother, Jimmy James Hutchins (Ruby) of Wallburg, NC; sister, Susan Hutchins Matthews (James) of East Bend, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Due to COVID restrictions, the family will hold a celebration of life service for Brenda at a later date.
