Brenda Bodford Whitaker

Brenda Bodford Whitaker, 70 of Winston Salem, passed away June 30, 2014 at her home. She was born July 8, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late Henry F. Bodford and Willa Elsie Bodford. Mrs. Whitaker was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Whitaker. She is survived by her daughters, Paula W. Webb and Timothy V. Webb of Swansboro NC, Donna W. Walser of Lewisville NC; four grandchildren, Justin B. Webb, Jared T. Webb, Shana ""Princess"" M. Walser, Dylan G. Walser; one great-granddaughter Payton O. Webb; her brother, Donald G. Bodford of Lenior, NC; her twin sister, Wanda B. Motsinger and Larry W. Motsinger of Rock Hill, SC; and many other special family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel at 11am on Thursday with Rev. G.L. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, Clemmons. The family will receive guests at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
