Greensboro-Brenda Joyce House Vance, 70, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. She was born April 29, 1940 in Cumberland Co. to the late Billie and Rosa Jane Page House. Brenda was an avid supporter of the Billy Graham Ministry, and many charitable organizations. Surviving are her husband, Charles Eugene Vance of the home; one daughter, Teresa Ruhland of Reidsville; one son, Dallas Clark and wife Christena of High Point; one granddaughter, Lauren Page Devora; two step-daughters, Genia Cook and husband Larry of Left Hand, WV, Vickie Nettle and husband, Mark of Clinton, OH; one step-son, Ernie ""Butch"" Vance of Dover, OH; four step-grandchildren, Luke and Levi Nettle, Rene Cook, and Chad Vance; two step-great-grandchildren, Emily and Molly; three sisters, Elsie Lucas, Barbara, and Constance Vann; and two brothers, Larry and Harold House. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Culbreth Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church in Falcon, NC with Rev. Danny Nelson officiating. Entombment will follow in Falcon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 pm Friday, July 30, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
