Brenda Thomas

Mrs. Brenda Jean Wallace Thomas, 73, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 19, 2021.  She was born August 5, 1947 in Iredell County to the late Vestal and Pearl Wallace.  She was a long-time attendee of Centenary United Methodist Church.  Brenda was an avid reader, whether it was book or audio books; enjoyed puzzles, watching TV mysteries, going to eat with friends, going to reunions, and traveling with Jerry when she was physically able.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wallace.  Brenda is survived by her son, Shawn Lambert; grandson, Ashton Lambert; close friend, Chris Martin; and many other special friends.  A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, April 23rd at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Susannah Pittman, and Rev. Kate May officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Children Ministry, P.O.
