Brenda Tedder Parrish

Walkertown - Mrs. Brenda Tedder Parrish, 75, passed away in peace, Friday December 2, 2016. She was born May 11, 1941 to the late Pauline Johnson and William Ralph Tedder. She attended Walkertown High School, and was a hardworking, loyal, caring mother, companion, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mrs. Parrish retired from retail after 40 plus years of service. She enjoyed working in retail and took great pride in her customer service. She loved growing her flowers, and the simple beauty of nature. Brenda was an avid and knowledgeable sports enthusiast, enjoyed watching college football and basketball and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by longtime companion Mark Sutphin, Olin Parrish, father of their children and friend, two brothers Norris and Harrelle Tedder, two sisters Nelma Browder and Lois Wooters. Surviving are brothers Richard (Betty) Tedder, Gayle Tedder and Barry (Lori) Tedder, son K. Todd Parrish, and daughters Tamara (George Butler) Parrish, Tara (Tom) Kleinlein, three grandchildren Codey Lamb, Austin and Mason Kleinlein, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating.
