Brenda Gail McGee

A very loving mother and wonderful grandmother Ms. Brenda Gail McGee, age 69, of Rural Hall passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Brenda was born August 31, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late James Monroe and late Minnie Louise Griffin McGee. She was of the Baptist faith and worked twenty-two years at Knollwood Hall Nursing Home in Winston-Salem as a CNA. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her Step-mother, Inez Moser McGee, seven sisters and two brothers. Surviving is her daughter, Sonya Cole of Rural Hall; two grandchildren, Lindsey Cole of Alaska and Miranda Cole of Winston-Salem; one sister, Debbie (Geoffrey) Goddard of Mt. Airy; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday evening, June 4, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service. The family would like to extend a very special Thank You to ""Cookie"" for all the love, care and support she gave toward Brenda. Memorials may be made to Kate B.
