Brenda Dowell Mabe

Mrs. Brenda Dowell Mabe, 58, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 12, 1958 in Forsyth County to Sarah McGee and Daniel Gray Dowell, Sr. Brenda was loved and cared for by two loving people, Homer and Pansy Dowell. She was of the Baptist faith and put her life in God's hands. Brenda was preceded in death by Homer and Pansy Dowell; brother, Daniel G. Dowell, Jr.; a loving granddaughter, Kristina M. Mabe who was a blessing; and baby Brandon. She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Ricky Lee Mabe; three sons: Mikey Brandon, Jonathan Mabe (Ashley), and Christopher Mabe (Ashley); step-son, Richard Mabe; parents, Daniel Dowell Sr. and Sarah McGee; two brothers, Richard Dowell (Mary) and Howard Dowell; two sisters, Kathy Dowel and special sister, Darlene Jarrell (Michael); three step-sisters, June Sedoris, Diane Tugman, and Tonya Rominger; twelve grandchildren: Triston, Owen, and Miley Brandon, Jayden, Gracie, and Hayleigh Mabe, Braylin Mabe, Caleb Shelton, Sarah Belcher, Cristal, Nick, and Frankie Mabe; and Snuggles, her snuggle buddy. To honor Brenda's wishes, there will be no formal visitation and a private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
