Brenda Jones

Mrs. Brenda Mann Jones, 72, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born in Forsyth County on December 7, 1946 to Chester Mann and Mary Fearrington Mann. Brenda was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church for many years and was part of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a high school English teacher for Forsyth County Schools for many years. Brenda loved to travel with her husband, John, in their RV. She had always dreamed of traveling to all 50 states, and John made that dream come true. Above all, Brenda loved her grandkids dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Mann and son, Chad Brandon Harper. Surviving are her mother, Mary Fearrington Mann; husband, John William Jones; son, Kyle Patrick Harper and wife, Sara of Wilmington, North Carolina; daughter, Kym Harper Styers and husband, Gary of Clemmons, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kaylee Styers, Avery Harper, and Eli Harper; brother, Richard K. Mann and wife, Cindy of King, North Carolina; step-children, Lynn Ambrose and Jeffrey Jones of Pennsylvania; and many extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Clemmons Moravian Church with Rev. Christopher C. Thore officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville.
