Brenda Overton Hull

WALKERTOWN - Mrs. Brenda Overton Hull, 71, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Brenda was born July 27, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lester Lee and Clara Styers Overton. She was a beloved and cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nanny and Granny. Brenda enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus 'Joe' Oneal Hull. Surviving are one daughter, Sandra (Evan) Slater; one son, Steven Hull; one granddaughter, Karie Lee Thompson; one great grandson, Ian Bjorling and one brother, Mike Overton. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June, 14, 2013 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. The family will receive from 6- 8 PM, Thursday, June 13, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center 101 Hospice Ln, Winston Salem, NC 27103
