Brenda Dorsett Faircloth

Mrs. Brenda Hester Dorsett Faircloth, age 77 passed away at her home in Clemmons, NC on August 26, 2023. She was born on July 18th, 1946 in Stokes County, NC to the late Swain Washington Dorsett and Edious Combs Dorsett.  She attended Badin Shores Chapel in New London, NC.  She had been retired for several years. She  loved to spend time with family and friends and her happy place was her lake house on Badin Lake.  Preceding her in death were her brothers John Henry Ford Dorsett, Dilmer Cornelius Dorsett, Fletcher Myers Dorsett.

She is survived by her husband Larry Faircloth of the home, her sister Addie Bea McDaniel of High Point, NC, daughter Rhonda Morgan Yex of Greer SC,  son Derrick Edward Morgan of High Point, NC,  step son Jeff Faircloth and his wife Alicia of Davidson NC, as well as grandchildren William Arthur Yex of Charlotte, NC, Elizabeth Glenn Yex of Charleston SC, Scott Edward Morgan of High Point, NC and Graham Faircloth of Davidson NC.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday September 1, 2023 in the Chapel at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway in Winston Salem NC at 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Badin Shores Chapel 4 Clubhouse Drive, New London, NC 28127.
