Brandon Lee Blick

 Mr. Brandon Lee Blick, 54, passed away on August 15, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on September 22, 1968, in Virginia to the late Jimmie and Patricia “Patty” Blick. Brandon received an honorable discharge from the United States Army after 12 years of service as a paratrooper and medic. His hobbies included model making, painting, and other forms of artwork. He also enjoyed music and played many instruments including guitar, keyboard, and trombone. Brandon was a history buff who was always ready to learn new things and very interested in politics and listening to podcasts. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan. Brandon was an animal lover, had a unique sense of humor, infectious laughter and was very sentimental. Most of all, Brandon loved taking care of his family and was always there to listen and give advice. He was a devoted and attentive husband, father, son, and brother and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 25 years; Candace Marie Spainhour Blick, one daughter; Chelsea Renee Blick of New York, two sons; Ian Royce Blick and Jimmie Lee Blick II, one brother; Jay Blick and his wife Jennifer, two nephews; Michael Patrick Blick and Nathan Charles Blick, a niece; Mattie Rose Blick, and several aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday August 19, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King American Legion Post 290 446 S. Main St. King NC, 27021 or an animal rescue of your choice.
