Brandi Marie Sands

Brandi Marie Sands of Jamestown, NC earned her wings June 20, 2014. Loved for many reasons but known for her exceptional sense of humor and quick wit. Brandi was also an avid animal lover and kind soul. Brandi was always able to find the good in others and would share all that she had to anyone in need. Giving, loving, and laughing were her nature. She joins her cherished mother, Kay Sands, in Heaven. Others there to welcome Brandi-girl are grandparents, Jack and Margaret Sillmon and grandmother, Marie Gaither. Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved father (aka Daddy) Ted Sands, sister Sherri (Mark) McSweeney, niece Emily McSweeney, special Aunt and confidant Sandra Watson, the ""Sillmon sisters"" and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Thank you to all of the family and friends that supported Brandi as she made this final journey. Brandi had a strong faith and beautiful soul. We love you more than the moon, the stars, and the sun.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel, 141 Smith-Edwards Rd., Kernersville, NC 27284. Burial will follow at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
