Brandee Nichole Berry

“By His wounds we are healed” -Isaiah 53:5-6. Brandee Nichole Mabe Berry unexpectedly found her wings Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home. She was born February 5, 1990 in Winston-Salem to Christopher Mabe and Paula Sides. Brandee graduated from North Davidson High School where she was on the homecoming court. She went on to receive an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Department from 2012-2014. Brandee also had a passion for dancing from a very young age.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kylee Faith Mabe and Kaiden Joshua Berry; her parents Chris Mabe and Paula Sides (Mark) ; a loving  sister, Brittanie Mabe (Cameron); a step brother, Anthony Sides; grandparents, Beverly Williams, Dennis Cockerham, and Grayling Wesley;  “Aunt T” (Teresa Ryan), and Aunt Carolyn Myers (Jeff); loving “sisterly” cousins, Michelle Gordon, Krystal Parrett Laura Brown, Trish Myers and Ashley Mann, as well as many life-long friends and other loved ones.

Brandee found all of her joy in her beloved children. They were the light of her life. Her short time with Kylee and Kaiden here on earth was spent loving and cherishing every moment with them.

She has joined in Heaven her brother, Joshua Cockerham; grandmother, Janet Wesley; her uncle, “Bucky”; and aunt, Kewaunee Erdmann.

Brandee, we love you more than chocolate milk.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 from 5:00– 7:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, NC.
Brandee will be laid to rest privately with family and close friends Monday, June 26th, 2023 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC.
