Boyd Lee Hayes

Mr. Boyd Lee Hayes, age 62 passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Hayes was born in Wilkes County, July 9, 1953 to the late Estel Henry Hayes and late Agnes Augusta Chandler Hayes. Boyd was employed by Duke Power and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents Boyd was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Hayes Knight.
Mr. Hayes is survived by one sister, Jacqueline ""Jackie"" Shields of King. Two brothers; Billy Ray Hayes of East Bend and Larry Wayne Hayes of Mocksville. Three nieces and two nephews.
The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Sunday evening August 23, 2015 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. The family would like to extend a very special Thank You to the ICU2 staff at Forsyth Medical Center and to the staff at Universal Health Care in King. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
