Bonnie Ward Barnes

Winston-Salem Bonnie Ward Barnes, 88, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Brookstone Terrace. She was born October 10, 1925 in Forsyth County to the late Gideon and Bessie Ward. Mrs. Barnes retired from Bellsouth with 42 years of service. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Barnes and two sons, Bobby and Richard Barnes. Surviving is a son, Thomas Barnes of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Crestview Memorial Park. There will be no formal visitation.
