Bonita "Bonnie" Walker Flynn, 71, of Winston-Salem, NC, flew away with the angels on May 21st after a courageous battle with health issues. Bonnie was born on February 1st, 1951 to Donald "Pop" and Gloria "Nana" Walker in Winston-Salem, NC. After Bonnie graduated from North Forsyth in 1969, she went to work at RJR for many years. She also worked at Novant Forsyth Memorial Hospital, which she retired from. Bonnie loved her pets and grand pups. She also enjoyed fishing and was a one of a kind cook. Bonnie was predeceased in death by her father Donald Walker and mother Gloria Walker both of Winston-Salem. Ricky Flynn ex-husband and friend, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Bonnie is survived by son Tommie Flynn and his spouse Garie Blevins of Burlington, NC. Sister Deborah "Debbie" Canter of Winston-Salem, and her close family friend China "Sissy" Moore of King, NC. Bonnie had many cousins, nephews, and other family members that she loved so much. She also had many close friends Janet O'Ferrell, Vetta Holley, Anna O'Ferrell, Ann Beason and many others. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00PM Saturday June 4, 2022, at Crews United Methodist Church. There will also be a celebration of life in near future.
