Bobby Lee Williams,Sr.

Mr. Bobby Lee Williams, Sr., 70, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. He was born in Pulaski, VA on July 1, 1945 the son of the late Thomas Herman Williams, Sr. and Nellie Lou Ellen Edmonds Williams. Mr. Williams was a member and deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church in Tobaccoville. He retired from R.J. Reynolds- Archer Division with 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife; Bobbie Creech Williams of the home, a son; Bobby Lee Williams, Jr. (Teresa) of Pfafftown, two granddaughters; Kaylee and Olivia Williams, five sisters; Peggy Ward, Imogene Southern (Jimmy), Marylin Ann Baker (Chris), Rebecca Eaton and Tina Minter, three brothers; Michael Williams (Mary), Richard Williams (Linda) and Danny Williams (Nina) and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special sister-in-law; Rebecca Davis. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall officiated by Rev. Elisha Robertson. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Wednesday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
