Bobby Messick

Mr. Bobby Graham Messick, 89, of Lewisville, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was born August 18, 1932 in Forsyth County to David and Josephine Messick. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force and was co-owner of D.F. Messick & Sons. He was a faithful member of Center Grove Baptist Church who loved his Lord and his church. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved and provided for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of his four children, Jeanette Etchison Messick. Also preceeding him in death were his second wife, Patsy Walker Messick; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his four children, Bobby Messick, Jr. (Lynn), Jeff Messick (Janine), Susan Luebchow (Tom) and Lisa Fields (Todd); 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Palmer and Julia Hauser and two brothers, Harold Messick and Tom Messick. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Center Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Corts officiating. Interment will follow at Lewisville Baptist Church cemetery. Bob will lie in state at Center Grove Baptist Church one hour before the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center Grove Benevolence Fund, 8750 Lasater Rd. Clemmons, NC 27012.
