Mr. Bobby Radford Inman, 74, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Surry County on March 20, 1936 to the late Henry Madison Inman and Era Mills Inman. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved to be outside working on his farm. He retired from Pike Electric with 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Henry ""Junior"" Inman Jr., Robert Joe Inman and Jerry Wayne Inman. Bobby is survived by his wife of 52 years, Arbra Coone Inman of the home, a daughter, Tammy Inman of Mt. Airy, two sons, Dale Inman and wife Shelia of Mt. Airy and Gary Inman and wife Leslie of Richmond, VA, four grandchildren, Kendra Inman, Taylor Inman, Jordan Inman and Hunter Inman, a sister-in-law, Betty Ann Inman of Pinnacle, one niece, Joyce Ann Phillips of Westfield and a nephew, Marty Inman of Pinnacle. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Woodville Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Love, Rev. Chris McMillian and Bro. Don Collins officiating. A private entombment service will follow at a later date in Inman Family Cemetery on the family farm. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening August 3, 2010 at Woodville Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to; Mountain Valley Hospice, 400 Technology Ln., Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
