HUFFMAN RURAL HALL, Mr. Bobby Paul Huffman, 61, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Bobby was born in Wilkes County on July 2, 1947 the son of the late Tracy Paul and Vallie Victoria Pendry Huffman. Bobby retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 31 years of service. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Korea during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed collecting relics such as Indian Artifacts. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Ray Huffman. Surviving is his wife of 42 years Jerry Sue Huffman, two daughters Victoria Marie (Robert) Brown and Tracie Huffman (Roy Scott) Tuttle all of Winston-Salem, four grandchildren, Tori Brown, Robert Brown, Jr., Matthew Tuttle and Amanda Tuttle, two brothers Ronnie (Cathy) Huffman of Kernersville and Bert (Judy) Huffman of Mocksville, three sisters-in-law Freddie Huffman of Charlotte, Charleen Porter of Rural Hall and Brenda (Doc) Clement of Bermuda Run and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Peter Cain officiating. Entombment with Military Honors by King American Legion Post # 290 will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Walkertown. The Huffman family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. tonight at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Brenners Children's Hospital, Devlopment Office, Medical Center Blvd. Winston-Salem, NC 27157-1021.
