Bobby Harrison

Mr. Bobby Allen Harrison,54, of Stokesdale, passed away into the arms of his savior July 29, 2021, at Rockingham County Hospice surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.  Bobby was born May 1, 1967, in Forsyth County to Walter Allen and Catherine Tilley Harrison.  He was a dedicated employee at Thomas Stanley Grading and Hauling in Stokesdale until his health declined.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roger Harrison.  Bobby is survived by his girlfriend, Wendy Tucker, and her family; one son, Charles Harrison (Ginger); grandson, Liam; granddaughter Alivia of Winston-Salem; Sisters, Alice Wilson of Rural Hall, Kathy Jarvis (Tommy) of Murrells Inlet, S.C., and Sandra Landreth (Steve) of Stokesdale; sister-in-law, Susan Harrison of Rural Hall, several nieces, nephews, and a special aunt, Barbara Sutphin, one uncle and a host of cousins.  In addition, he is survived by a host of loving co-workers and friends.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 2, 2021, at Marshall Baptist Church, 5739 Old Rural Hall Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105 with Pastor John Holmes officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 at the church.  The family would like to thank Rockingham County Hospice for the care they have provided for Bobby and the support they have extended to the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
