Bobby Davis Denny

DENNY RURAL HALL, 2nd Timothy # 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Mr. Bobby Davis Denny, 68 of Mizpah Church Rd. died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Bobby was born in Surry County on August 24, 1940 the son of the late Robert William and Lucille Davis Denny. Bobby was of the Baptist Faith. He had retired from R J R Archer in 1988 with 25 years of service, following his retirement he worked at King Chevron Station. Surviving is his loving companion Barbara Tilley of Rural Hall, a daughter Tammy Walker and husband Travis, a son Chris Denny all of King, three grandchildren Cameron Denny of Walnut Cove, Abby Walker and Tyler Walker both of King. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 17, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Randall Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The Denny family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM tonight at the Funeral Home.
