Mr. Bobby Lee Coe, 81, passed away January 10, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 2, 1936 in Surry County to the late Henry Jackson Coe and Annie Bell Coe. Bobby was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church for many years. He loved his church, and enjoyed watching the Panthers and Nascar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, Jack, and Donnie; three sisters, Alma, Dorothy, and Martha. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Kaye Goins Coe; one son, Randy Coe; two daughters, Cindi Holder (Donnie), Patty Palmer (Nathan); six grandchildren, Shawn Holder (Julie), Joshua Holder (Melissa), Joseph Coe (Kendall), Kimberly Greene (Shane), Jeffrey Coe, and Matthew Palmer; six great -grandchildren, Ethan, Sydney, Elijah, Leigh, Mason, and Jordan; and one sister, Linda Church. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Jon White officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church Missionary Fund, 1000 Rural Hall-Germanton Road., Rural Hall, N.C. 27045.
