Mr. Bobby Alton Clodfelter, 71, of Lexington died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born December 22, 1940 in Forsyth County, the son of the late, Robert Andrew and Bertha Mae Forbus Clodfelter. Mr. Clodfelter was a member of Samaritan Baptist Church and was retired from Burger King Corporation following nine years of service. He was a member of Masonic and Eastern Star Lodge #198. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sanders Clodfelter of the home; one daughter, Kathy C. Moore and husband, Rick of Orange City Fl, six sons, Duane Clodfelter and Earl Clodfelter and wife, Angela of Deland, FL, Sandy Clodfelter and wife, Sheryl and Patrick Clodfelter of Orange City, FL, Bobby A. Clodfelter, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Woodland, AL and Robert Branch and wife, Carrie Sue of Buchanan, GA; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Smith, Betty Raper and Martha Swaim and husband, Donald all of Winston-Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 6:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Danny Smith and Gene Clodfelter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 PM. A private family burial will take place at Parklawn Memorial Park.
