KERNERSVILLE-Bobby Ray Bullins, Sr., 65, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 28, 2010. He was born August 30, 1944 in Rockingham Co. to the late Ollie Eulies and Bessie Farris Bullins. Bobby was a member of Winston Salem First formerly First Assembly. He was a general contractor and a master craftsman who built many homes in Forsyth Co. Mr. Bullins loved to travel and spend time with his grandson, Mitch. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lois, Dewey, Aubrey; and one sister, Ruth Bullins. Surviving are two sons, Ray Bullins and wife Lisa of Kernersville, Tim Bullins of King; one daughter, Robin Hedrick and husband Terry of Winston Salem; four sisters, Elizabeth Purgason, Mary Sue White, Bonnie Mae Roberts, Virginia Bowden; one grandson, Mitchell Bullins; former wife and mother of his children, Nancy Bullins; and a very special friend, Ellen Phipps. A Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. John Bost officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Ray and Lisa, 1258 Whitworth Ct, Kernersville.
