Bobby Duke Boger

Bobby Duke Boger, 73, of Wallburg, died April 1, 2011, at home. He had fallen victim to small cell lung cancer. He was born to Lucille Grubbs Boger and John Duke Boger. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth (Liz) Craven Boger; a son, John Boger and wife, Erin; three grandchildren, Duke, Emily and Ellie Boger; a daughter, Sally Bender. Boger served in the Army Reserve. After retiring from a 32 year service with Amp, Inc., he became known as the Lawn-Mower Doctor to his friends and neighbors. He was a Deacon and active member of Wallburg Baptist Church. All who knew him would agree, he was a kind, gentle man who loved the LORD and his family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Wallburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Ehrlich officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.
