Bobby Boger

Mr. Bobby Ray Boger, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born in Forsyth County on April 6, 1944 the son of the late Herman and Mary Boger. Mr. Boger retired from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools as a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Ann Boger and two sisters. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Shockley (Mike) of Walnut Cove, three grandchildren, Daniel, Christy and Amanda, two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Dixie, two brothers, Nelson Boger and James Boger and a sister, Nancy Fulcher. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Cliff Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Thursday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
