Bobby Gray Bauguess

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Bobby Gray Bauguess, 81, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Bobby was born on June 29, 1931 to the late Carl E. and Nora Key Bauguess. Bobby worked for Roadway Trucking Company for 28 years and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Kernersville Masonic Lodge #669 - A.F. & A.M. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are his wife, Virginia 'Jenny' of 64 years; one daughter, Barbara Bauguess of Colfax; two grandchildren, Kristi Dorton (husband, Scott) of Clemmons and Jason Crews (wife, Mary) of Walkertown; great grandchildren, Adam and Kendyl Crews, Peyton and Paisley Dorton, Chris McBride; Robert and Courtney Ballard; many special nieces and nephews and a special friend, Clay Smith. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2013, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mike Willard and Rev. Wilson Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12 noon - 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
