Bobby Gene Barlow

Mr. Bobby Gene Barlow, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 17, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Bobby was born April 3, 1937 to the late George and Beatrice Barlow. He was also preceded in death by his loving son, Rodney Barlow in 2015 and two brothers, Bill and David Barlow and his sister, Brenda Jester. Mr. Barlow is survived by his daughter, Maria Barlow Hall (Mike); his grandsons, Brandon and Dillon; his granddaughter, Linda; a great-granddaughter, Harley; his sister-in-law's, Cathy Barlow, Marie Barlow-West (Wayne); his brother-in-law, J. C. Redmon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bobby served in the U. S. Army and married Frances Prince Barlow in 1957. She preceded him in death in 2013. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage. He is now with his beloved Frances and son Rodney. Bobby worked as a body repair man and retired from Car Quest. A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, November 21, 2016 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Wayne West officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until 2:30pm prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. ""Bobby, you were loved and will be missed. You had the ""gift of gab"" and never met a stranger."" The family extends special thanks to Willowbrooke in Yadkinville and to Hospice for their compassionate care of Bobby.
