Bobbie Jean Maurer

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Maurer, 68, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on May 27, 1947 to David and Louise Lowery of Richfield, NC. She was a member at Vernon Forest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her brother Melvin Lowery and grandson Robert (BJ) Lingerfelt. She leaves behind her beloved husband Roger Maurer Sr. Surviving are her daughter Marlene Lingerfelt & husband of Gold Hill; her son, Sonny Kirkman & wife of Salisbury; step-children, Nancy Conley, Roger Maurer Jr, Stevie Maurer along with 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her brother Ennis Lowery, Sr. and sister, Mary Frances. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Vernon Forest Baptist Church with Pastor James M. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at West lawn Memorial Park in China Grove, NC at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home at 101 Hospice Ln, Winston-Salem NC, 27103.
