Bobbie Lenora Lawson

Mrs. Bobbie Lenora Boaz Lawson, 94, passed away on December 10, 2024, at Creekside Terrace Senior Living Home. She was born on January 14, 1930, to the late Raleigh Boaz and Maggie (Lawson) Boaz in Surry County, NC.

Bobbie moved from Pilot Mountain to live in Winston-Salem as a young adult and worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company for many treasured years before retirement.

She loved gardening, bird watching, traveling, playing games and spending time with her friends. Her son and grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Along with her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband Bill; son Jerry; and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her granddaughter Lauren; grandson, Kane; great-grandsons, Jack and Arlo; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will hold private services in honor of Bobbie’s life.

She was very concerned about our neighbors in western NC suffering from the effects of hurricane Helene. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Red Cross in Bobbie’s memory.
