Blanche Mae Cook Waters

Mrs. Blanche Mae Cook Waters, 92, or Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Waters was born in Trenton, NJ on April 17, 1920 to Mr. George William and Mary Sellner Cook. She was a member of Olivet Moravian Church. Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard E. Waters. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Akey of Cary; two sons, Dean Waters of SC and Brian Waters of NJ; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Homestead Hills with the Rev. Doug Rights officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Olivet Moravian Church, 2205 Olivet Church Road Winston-Salem, NC 27106 or to the Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
