Blanche Mae Minton Reavis, 96, of Winston-Salem, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on October 1, 1924, in Wilkes County to the late Silas Decator Minton and Bitha Jane Hix Minton. Mrs. Reavis retired from Rose Stores, Inc. as a department Manager. She was an avid gardener and loved sharing her bounty with others. She was an active member of Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Reavis; and sister, Lucille Minton West. Mrs. Reavis is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Reavis Vogel (Jim), Pat Reavis Loflin (Steve); one son, Bobby Reavis (Jean); four grandchildren, Ray Reavis (Kim), Chris Reavis (Patricia), Steve Loflin, Jr. (Sheri) and Matthew Loflin (Christy); six great-grandchildren, Christopher Reavis, Brooke Reavis, Jesse Reavis, Sydney Loflin, Addison Loflin, and Anson “Bo” Loflin; and four step-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem, with Pastor Daniel Hawtree, Jr. officiating. Masks will be required at the service. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Kerwin Baptist Church, 4520 Old Hollow Rd., Kernersville, NC 27284.
