Blanche Peek

Mrs. Blanche Earlette Peek, 70, passed away on October 1, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born on January 5, 1950 to Earl Hampton Keene and Nellie Mae Keene in Tampa, FL.  She was a loving mother and wife. Blanche had a lifelong passion for crafting, art, gardening, event decorating/planning and most notably flower arrangements of all kinds.  She was Vice President of her local ECA group and President of Pine Valley Garden Club.   She received several awards and prizes from floral/craft entries at the Dixie Classic Fair over the years.  Blanche was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are husband, Rev. Robert M. Peek, Sr.; son, Robert Peek, Jr.; Brother, Joseph Keene; sister in law, Mary Ann Keene and Aunt, Carolyn Rowe-Kevorkian. There will be a memorial service 2pm at Fairview Moravian Church (This service will also be livestream for those who cannot attend please follow link for details:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j.4869198453  Meeting ID: 4869198453   Passcode: 11223344 ) conducted by Rev. Scott Venable with interment following at Salem Moravian Graveyard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) or The National Kidney Foundation.
