Blanche Vera Krenach

Blanche Vera Krenach, devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, passed away on November 8, 2009, one day after her 91st birthday, in Chino Hills, California. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1918. She spent most of her adult life in Miami, Florida, where she met and married Louis Jesse Krenach. They were married for over 50 years. Their summers were spent in Fairview, North Carolina, (just outside of Asheville), where they had a home and property for 42 years. Some 28 years ago, Louis and Blanche moved to Winston-Salem, where she remained after Louis' death. In March of this year, she moved to Chino Hills, California. Blanche is survived by her daughter, Karen, and son-in-law, Todd Miller of Chino Hills, California, and her son Robert and daughter-in-law, Susan Krenach of Advance, North Carolina. She was very proud of her grandchildren: Susan Skipper and her husband, Jeff; Robin Lee Springer and her husband, Robin; Courtney Groome and her husband, Shattuck; Collin Miller and his wife, Elizabeth; and Dustin Miller and his wife, Lindsey. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Brittany Brock and her husband, Keith; Jared and Hannah Skipper; Trey and Ryan Springer; and Trenton Groome. A funeral service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Lewisville, North Carolina, with Pastor Amy Crump officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A lunch reception will follow the service in the church reception hall.
