Billy Gray Williamson

Mr. Billy Gray Williamson, 67, of Walkertown died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 6, 1943 in Thomasville to Joseph Bud and Pansy Brown Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was involved with music and the church choir. He attended Archdale Elementary School and was a graduate of Trinity High School. He attended Piedmont Bible College and was a graduate of barber school. He worked for many years at West End Barber Shop in Richmond, VA and later was operator of Eagle Barber Shop in Pfafftown until 1998. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Joseph Bud Williamson, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Williamson of the home; one daughter, Sarah Custalow-Lowe and husband, Robert Lowe of Blacksburg, VA; three step children, Jerry Custalow and wife, Kim, Michael Custalow and Lisa Custalow and two step grandchildren, Jessica and Wyatt Custalow all of Richmond, VA; his mother of Clemmons; one sister, Norma Jean Boulding of Clemmons and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gary Styers and Rev. George Goggins officiating.
