Billy Raye Wall

Mr. Billy Raye Wall, age 82 of Rural Hall passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home. Mr. Wall was born in Forsyth County, April 10, 1930 to Buford Evans and Margaret Clunette Kirby Wall. He was a member of Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church in Germanton, retired from R.J. Reynolds in 1987 and always had his bags packed ready to go to White Lake where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife; Oneda B. Wall and twin sister; Faye Wall Spainhour. Surviving are his daughter; Debbie (Jeff) Bryan of Germanton, two sons: Steve (Janet) Wall of Rural Hall and Stan (Jenny) Wall of Walnut Cove. Four grandchildren: Brandon (Ashley) Wall, Michael Wall, Amber and Ashleigh Bryan. Great-grandson; Nate and great-grand puppy; Scoop. Two sisters; Frances Conrad of Winston-Salem and Margaret (Walt) Snell of Grand Blanc,MI. One brother; Larry (Marie) Wall of Kernersville. Brother-in-law; Robert Spainhour of King. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Wall will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church in Germanton by Rev. Gary Sanders. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in King. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
