Billy Venable

Mr. Billy Ray Venable, 82, passed away, Monday, November 7, 2022. He was born May 6, 1940, to the late Samuel Harvel and Ida Simmons Venable. Bill was a hard worker and was a saved born again Christian ready to meet God. A faithful member of Stoney Ridge Baptist Church since May 1955 and continued to be faithful thru his sickness. Bill was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, choir member, a member of Baptist Men’s Association, and supported many missionaries. He was a kind loving man who loved God with all his heart and everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Lou Venable and many brothers and sisters. Survived is his daughter, Teresa Horton (Randy) of Rural Hall, and sister Helen Hall of Westfield. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday November 10, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Bill’s last prayer on Sunday was if anyone was lost that they would come to know the lord before it is too late.
