Billy Ray Stanley

Mr. Billy Ray Stanley, 73, of Mt. Airy died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at his home. He was born June 2, 1937 in Surry County, the son of the late, Esker and Verdie Edwards Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Stanley. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Walden of the home; two daughters, Mary Boye and Wanda Puckett of Winston-Salem; one son, Doyle Stanley of Winston-Salem and 14 grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park.
