Billy Bynum Simmons

Mr. Billy Bynum Simmons, 73, passed away on October 25, 2015 at Regency Care of Clemmons. He was born on May 14, 1942 to John Bynum Simmons and Gertrude Elizabeth Long Simmons in Forsyth County. Billy graduated from Mineral Springs High School in 1960. With a gift for music, he enjoyed singing in local quartets and also in the choir at Woodland Baptist Church. Gospel music was his favorite. More than anything, he loved his family. Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Thomas Simmons, and a sister, Doris Elizabeth Simmons. Surviving are his son, Darrell Bynum Simmons and wife, Rhonda; daughter, Debbie Langston and husband, Michael; as well as grandchildren, Kristie Stanley, Zack Stanley, and Taylor Simmons. The family would like to thank the staff at Regency Care for the exceptional care they provided to Billy.
