Billy Carroll Reece

Mr. Billy Carroll Reece, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Reece was born in Yadkin County on June 17, 1933 to the late B.C. and Dixie Ring Reece. He was a true NASCAR fan and loved the UNC Tarheels. Mr. Reece was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Sheek Reece; a brother, Cranford Reece; and two sisters, Opal Disher and Nell Stack. He is survived by four sons, Timmy, Jamie, Scotty, and Rodney Reece; six grandchildren, Justin, Chrissy, Carlee, Lyndsey, Shayne, and Kendall; and four sisters, Ruth Minor, Polly Voegele, Pat Stump, and Mary Arnold. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with the Rev. Terry Coe officiating. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
