Billy Eugene Myers

Mr. Billy Eugene Myers, 74 of Advance, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1934 in Davie County to the late George and Fallie Phelps Myers. Mr. Myers was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Joyce K. Myers of the home; two sons, Scott Myers and wife Crystal of Advance and Terry Myers and wife Tammy of Mocksville; one grandson, Carson Myers; two brothers, Jimmy T. Myers and wife Peggy of Mocksville and Herman H. Myers of Advance and nine nieces and ten nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Monday at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church by Rev. Ronnie Craddock and Chaplain A.G. Parker. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
