Billy Lee Holston, Sr.

Billy Lee Holston, Sr. age 76 of Tobaccoville passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mr. Holston was born in Forsyth County, May 14, 1936 to Gray Walter and Nancy Jane Shore Holston. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Tobaccoville and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 13 years of service. In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Joan Brooks Holston. A daughter, Susan Macencup and four brothers. Mr. Holston is survived by two daughters; Denise Holston (Randy Moon) of Tobaccoville and Karen (Adam) McNally of Grand Prairie, TX. Two sons: Billy Holston, Jr. and Daniel Holston both of Winston-Salem. Seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Bill Tucker Funeral services for Mr. Holston will be conducted Thursday afternoon October 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Tobaccoville by Pastor Marty Sewell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Wednesday evening Oct. 24th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
