Billy 'Buster' Howard Burchette, Jr.

KERNERSVILLE - Billy ""Buster"" Howard Burchette, Jr., 64, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born February 20, 1948 in Forsyth Co. to the late Billy Howard Burchette, Sr. and Willie Mae Phillips Burchette. Buster was employed with American Industrial Contractors where he had numerous friends. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and had played semi pro softball for many years and served in the United States Marine Corps. Bill was a familiar face and made many special friends at Clarks for which the family is very grateful for. Surviving are his son, Todd Burchette and wife, Sheri of Westfield; one sister, Linda Blankenship and husband, Roger of Winston Salem; two brothers, David Burchette and wife, Sandra of King, Donnie Burchette and wife, Teresa of Grove, OK; three grandchildren, Devin Burchette, Brittany Moore, and Adrianna Ford; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Jason Holley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
